The Weepies spin madly on

It's not until half-way through The Weepies's set that you suddenly realise they haven't got a drummer. Nodding at each other to come in on time, the West Coast duo, flanked by bass and an extra guitar, show off the reasons why being very, very good at the guitar means you don't need anything extra. Absolutely stunning vocals, and charm in buckets. When a guitar makes an almighty bang, singer Deb Talan grins at the crowd: "It's alright, we're professionals, this is all under control."

I love the Weepies and I absolutely Need to see them live when I get the chance. They're ooze disarming talent that seems unparalleled. Their sound just blows me away completely.
