The sound's not exactly quiet in the XFM tent, but Californian duo Two Gallants manage to make and EXTREME amount of noise with only a guitar and some drums. There's whistling, and occasional whimsy for sure, but there's also a drummer who plays like he's beating in some particularly annoying nails. Think The White Stripes getting drunk on cider and you're about there.

On the way to the MySpace tent we catch Missy Higgins on the main stage, singing the line, "We'll never be warm again". She probably saying something Important about relationships, but we're bloody freezing so she's not wrong either way.
