Foundation Festival cancelled

Top
Following the news that the Foundation Festival were appealing against their license application being turned down, they're, er, not anymore.

They've realised that even if they did manage to get the decision overturned, they wouldn't have enough time to sort the festival out before it was due to take place on September 2 - 3, so they're organising a club night in the Carling Academy Bristol instead.

Sway, Killa Kela, J-Live, Terri Walker, Dwele, Trojan Soundsystem and DJ Derek were all due to play at the festival, but you can see them in Brizzle instead. The festival will hopefully take place in 2007 instead.

Gutted. That festival sounded absolutely amazing.

That's really lame - it sounded like a proper successor to Glastonbury in terms of its charitable aims at least, so it's a shame they didn't have the license sorted out already. Plus am gutted not to see GLC - they're amazing!
