The Zutons and The Late Edition

So, Suffolk's phone reception is quite crap. Who knew? Let's cast our minds back an hour to stuff we've seen. It's quite an achievement that despite having more members that Snow White's entourage, The Zutons look dwarfed by the Obelisk tent stage. Die-hard Zufans fill the front, while laid-back adults protect their backs on the stadium seating. They make an alright set, Valerie aside, with Pressure Point going off like an anthem, but after the zippy Noisettes it's a bit boring so we go off to investigate the now deserted Comedy tent where two teenagers are dancing like narcoleptic puppets. We should point out that there *was* music, but they were probably very drunk anyway so potato, potato. On to the Literary tent, decked out with couch and book spines like a shrink's library, where comedians are discussing politics, the papers and the gymnastic potential of a small child. Tremendous. We're now about to indulge in some burlesque karaoke with Lucy Fire: we will probably end up singing Suede.
